Not many artists can boast signing their first single with one of the greatest House Music personalities of all-time, Bob Sinclar, Those Usual Suspects released their first single “Dakka” on the French Superstar’s classic Africanism/Yellow Productions imprint.
Fast-forward and Those Usual Suspects once again find themselves alongside one of the biggest in the game, Dirty South, with their collaborative Essential New Tune, ‘Walking Alone ft Erick Hecht’.
Now we see the successful ‘Suspects’ re-ignite the winning formula with seemingly peerless and talented Erik Hecht and his stunning voice on ‘Can’t Hold On’ via Onelove Recordings Australia.
Erik’s heart-wrenchingly sincere & earnest vocal takes full flight across the package and is handled superbly by each of the dutiful remix artists; be it the peaktime club cuts from DJ DLG & Nordean, the brooding baselines from Phetsta & The Immigrant or the overflowing fun spilling out from cuts from Reelax or Fear Of Dawn all alongside the soaring Original and Partouze take from Those Usual Suspects.
A true pioneer of electronic music deadmau5 continues to impress with each release. A massive return to form from the mau5 as he teams up with vocalist Chris James.
The Veldt was created over a 22-hour live streaming session and was inspired by a short science-fiction story by Ray Bradbury. 100% hypnotic, full of melody, swirling strings and bouncing synths, this 9 min radio edit (yes you read that right) is a stand out tune.
Watch out for remixes to follow.
Producer extraordinaire and prince of all things freshness, Tom Piper, has teamed up with New Zealand’s king of all things club, Daniel Farley, to deliver an electronic crawl-to-arms with L.G.F.U. – LET’S GET FUCKED UP!
Set to dilate pupils across both sides of the Tasman with its glitched-up synth-driven hooks and acidicly hypnotic break down, L.G.F.U. is the party anthem for this decade.
Featuring bang on remixes from Nom De Strip, Danny T, & Chaos in the CBD.
Laidback Luke is ready to release his long-awaited single “Speak Up”, this time teaming up with NYC vocalist Wynter Gordon who gives the track chart topping credentials. Already well known for a multitude of collaborations with various big names including David Guetta, Diplo and A-Trak, Laidback Luke more recently hooked up with Sander van Doorn on the stellar track Whos Wearing The Cap, a mash up of trance, progressive and electro.
Luke’s latest collaboration with Arno Cost and Norman Doray “Trilogy” went successful on charts in no time. 2011 also saw Luke enjoying chart success on UK Top 40 hit, Natural Disaster with Example, as well as his work with Steve Aoki and the master of crunk Lil Jon on Turbulence that took over Radio 1 airwaves.
Never one to shy away from an edgier sound, Laidback Luke injects a high dose of energy to Speak Up with a stomping build-up throughout the first half of the track that leads to a softer, suspenseful melody, supported by Wynter Gordons vocals. Luke then goes full steam ahead and launches into another intense, aggressive build up to see the track through to the end. The perfect recipe for a chart crossover club anthem! In addition to working with fellow stalwarts of the electronic music industry, Luke has also remixed stellar pop acts from Black Eyed Peas, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Tiesto, MSTRKRFT ft. John Legend, Dizzee Rascal, Avicii and Moby to name a few. Its not just producing music that has keeps Luke busy. With his very own Super You&Me tent at Creamfields and a residency at Cream Ibiza last summer where he hosted the Mixmag Terrace on six dates, we can only wonder when he ever has any time to be Laidback..!
The Speak Up package includes remixes from Chris Lake, Mark Knight, Oliver Twizt, Moska and Das Kapital who all put their own unique stamp on the track.
Fresh for 2012, Dr Don Don pairs up with Amali Ward on the second single of his forth coming debut album.

This infectious single is the quintessential all round feel-good anthem, proving why the Dons’s biggest fans spread far and wide into the play lists of Fat Boy Slim, Judge Jules, Eric Morillo, Yolanda Be Cool & Riva Starr
