Casino-style clubs and giant raves might seem the yardsticks de jour for electronic music artists in the US, but hearing your music on the radio while driving through America is a moment still enjoyed by a select few. It’s a club now joined by Australian artist Hayden James, though, when en route to Coachella his song ‘Something About You’ emerged from the car stereo.
Signed to Future Classic, Hayden James‘ ‘Something About You’ has so far notched up over 6 million online streams (with support from leading YouTube channel, The Sound You Need), hit high rotation on specialist and commercial radio across Australia, and made the leap to daytime US radio and more recently won Best Release at this years InTheMix Awards. A highlight of both Coachella weekends, and one of the anthems for the forthcoming Ibiza season, expect this to be one of the tunes of 2015.
Alongside the breakthrough original come a slew of dynamite remixes from UK producer Ben Pearce, house veteran Charles Webster, the hotly tipped Just Kiddin.
