The ‘Synergy’ Album is chiseling Slop Rock‘s name clearly into the side of the Australian dance music history. A beautifully constructed and varied record that takes the listener on a voyage to clubland via some fantastic destinations. Tracks like ‘Revolution’, T’he Bomb’ and ‘No Other Way’ have already stormed dance floors and DJ sets globally.
The next single “Make It Right” is potentially the strongest club track on the record. A super smooth vocal and a volume demanding drop. The synth work on this track builds an urgency that accelerates further and further from the initial impact. For DJs wanting to move beyond the classic EDM/Big Room sound or wanting to add some epic elements to their Electro sets, the initial remix pack contains a hyper backbeat driven re-rub from Who Killed Mickey who plays with the vocal in a melodic sense pulling a whole new progression out of the tune. Varcity‘s version is sexy piano driven house that’ll last long past summer. Pablo Calamari has used his signature garage influences to create a deep house version that is heavy on the rhythm.
