Sometime between all the Fool’s Gold Day Offs that have been popping up , label boss A-Trak found the time to record his follow-up single to “Push,” his yearning thumper with Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt.
“We All Fall Down,” unveiled on Zane Lowe‘s Beats 1 radio show, does the electric slide into a similar category: British soul singer Jamie Lidell‘s slightly gravelly vocals give a soulful spin to A-Trak’s (a.k.a. Alain Macklovitch) house-y piano stabs and gentle peak and drop.
A-Trak personally reached out to other producers who he regularly plays in his sets, including rising vocal house star CID, Hardwell-backed duo Volt & State, and Soulection regular Jarreau Vandal.
