It is not often that a collaboration can span years and multiple countries, but “Shine” does just that. The brain child of a vocal writing session between Yogi (Random Soul), Ben Morris and Venuto a number of years ago, “Shine’s” feel-good lyrics always felt like something special to the trio, but the project was put on the back burner until the inclusion of Central Station’s newest signing AK9. After numerous back-and-forth versions between Poland and Australia, and a freshly recorded vocal, “Shine” was finally ready to be released.
AK9 is the newest and youngest member of the Central Station family. His recent remix of Chili Hifly‘s “Is It Love” was included in Don Diablo’s Hexagon Radio pod-cast. The 19 year old Polish producer, works at a level far beyond his years and is set for a huge 2015! Ben Morris and Venuto are no strangers to quality house music, with a couple of ARIA Club Chart Top Tens to their name with “Rock You” and “Give It Up”. The voice of “Shine”, Yogi is also synonymous when it comes to quality house music. His Random Soul project with Husky is known the world over for its soul, jazz and funk influences and of course the vocal styling of the man himself, Yogi.
“Shine” is a feel good house record that has just the right amount of punch for dance floors.
